This week was transfer week which means that work is slow. Elder Grajeda left Botetourt to go and serve in Kentucky as a District leader. It's great for him. While he left and I was waiting for Elder Price ( my new companion) I hung out with the Elders from the Roanoke area. We met a few people and it was fun to hang out with them. I am still in Botetourt and am now serving with Elder Price. He is from American Fork Utah and loves working hard. I'm training him how to be a missionary since he is brand spankin' new and has only been out 6 weeks. It's fun to train new missionaries.
This week was full of little miracles, one i will save for the next email because it will take too long to write about and i'm short on time. This week was somewhat frustrateing because all of the people we have taught haven't been able to keep a consistand time to meet. We have a whole bunch of people to teach but they don't have time now. So when we have free time we find people to teach. Last night we ate dinner at the Cummings house. They are a family in the ward. They are all converts and they encouraged and comforted us to be patient and they thanked us for the work that we have done. It's good to know we are appreciated. Thank the missionaries in the Troy area for their hard work, it really helps to get encouragement from the ward. Keep praying for Tony. He's a wonderful guy in his 40's who is really interested in the church. we continue to work with him and hopefully he will come to church this week. we hope for the best. It's great to be a Mormon.
I will send pictures of Elder Price and I.
Sincerely,
Elder Kochenderfer
p.s We got a new roommate. his name is Sampson. He is a whitetailed deer and watches over us. Elder Price and I put him up today. :)
