I honestly don't know how to describe this week. Amazing would be one word. There are many more adjectives. To start off this week there was an article published in the Roanoke Times. It is a local newspaper that covers the Western half of Virginia and a little into North Carolina. It was on the front page of the "Virginia" section of the newspaper. In my previous email i think i explained how we met the journalist by simply knocking on doors. She was touched by us knocking on her door and thus wrote an article on us. The article is wonderful and positive. It will be a great medium for the spread of the gospel.
Even though we were in the newspaper, we were more excited to have two wonderful people come to church this week. Ms. Shelby had come last week and came this week, but we also had a wonderful woman named Ms. Smith. She is a member of the church but hasn't come to church for a long time. She has a young family and they have gone through some tough times recently, she needed a spiritual "recharge" as she said. She was joyful that she had come and she plans to come back and bring her children.
This week has been special one. The miracles that occurred have been culminating. I often don't talk about going to Brazil. I hope to be there one day but I want to thank God that I have spent time in Virginia. Look at all the miracles that have happened while here. God bless you, it's great to be a Mormon.
