Short email, because I'm short on time.
This week has been great. We found some potential investigators that have real potential. I mean real potential, they are looking for the gospel and we are here to bring it to them. There is the Wright family and a young father named Brandon.
We also gave a church tour this week to some investigators that have progressing for a while. We showed up to their house for them to follow us to the church and they were all dressed up! It was the highlight of our week. We gave them a tour of the church and ended it with a short organ performance by me. They enjoyed it thoroughly. They met members and made friends. We are excited for their progress.
The other big thing that happened this week was when Elder Grajeda and I helped out at the farm. There is a great family here called the Cummings. They just bought a small farm in the area. Yesterday we had the privilege to "buck" hay. It was work and it was fun. I never grew up on a farm but it was fun to see how it worked. There were so many amazing tools and equipment to use on a farm. To me it was amazing watching the machinery bailing hay. We collected it and put it in the barn. We ended the day with great ribs and a full days work. I hope we can do it again.
Hope all is well and that you are doing well. It's great to be a Mormon here in Botetourt County.
Sincerely,
Elder Kochenderfer
